This single storey building has a flat, single ply roof. Constructed in a traditional brick/block format but with the added feature of the stack bonded brickwork to the front facad. Two large rooflights flood light into the main workshop area. Aluminium windows and doors complete the building envelope.

Internally, walls were finished with 2 coat plaster for durability with rubber flooring and carpet laid to the floors. The building is to be used for teaching students how to bricklay and mechanics so required additional durability.

Externally, the surrounding area was resurfaced in Tarmacadam and an internal courtyard was created to form an external eating area for the students.
