Location
The 2 storey standalone block was to built to create a new robust unit (known as 'The Cabin') for the particular needs of the autistic students at the college.
The structure was formed from a steel frame, wet pour ground and first floor, brick and through colour render on blockwork. The heating is an underfloor wet system supplied from an air source heat pump. The building utilises the latest LED lighting technology and building management systems.
The roof is an insulated felt roof system.
The building is located at the rear of the college and is shaped to fit into the location which complicated the build but Marlow Builders completed the work to the agreed programme.
