The project comprised of 11 phases spread all over the CT Scanning department. Structural works were carried out to the existing building to facilitate the installation of a new concrete beam and block floor on a combination of steel work and forming pockets in existing external walls. Many areas were reformed to create new spaces and the creation of the new CT Scanner area deep inside an existing courtyard of the hospital.
New blockwork walls formed the new layout with plaster and paint finish and a non-slip vinyl flooring installed to most areas. New lighting and power was installed along with ventilation, air conditioning, hot and cold water services and medical gases.
